I’m very happy to welcome Mahogany Beal to our appearance at Chicago’s Wild Hare. Mahogany is a vibrant part of Lady Sol’s Fiyah Fit Gyals, known for commanding the biggest stages in the city.
Mahogany Beal started dancing at the age of seven with commercial hip hop being her first form of training. While attending Columbia College Chicago she immersed herself in various techniques. Her education exposed her to different styles of dance, such as West African, Modern, Ballet and advanced Hip Hop. Mahogany has always aspired to become a more versatile dancer.
In 2016 Mahogany also began training in Dancehall with noted choreographer LadySol. In 2019 Mahogany graduated from Columbia College with a BA in dance, and constantly hones her craft, while teaching classes throughout Chicago. Mahogany has also assisted LadySol and Urban Gateways as an instructor for many of the city’s youth programs.
She has gained experience working for several institutions, yet continues to be a part of exciting performances with LadySol & the Fiyah Fit Gyals. Among her top highlights is working with Afrobeats artist Queen Drie at the House of Blues, while opening for Tiwa Savage.
