In August of 2025, DJ Slugo was scheduled to perform in the city of Elgin, Illinois. I was backstage watching the set of another amazing artist by the name of Lenny Williams. He is known for influencing both R Kelly and Kanye with his signature vocal styles (Ohhh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh). The thing that stuck out the most for me is how he had the ladies in the audience, young and old, ENRAPTURED..
I was not jealous… As Dave Chappelle would say, I was FURIOUS!
